Throughout my time at the Knauss School of Business at the University of San Diego—and previously at the Neeley School of Business at TCU—I’ve worked on a range of projects that challenged me to think creatively, target real-world problems, and expand my business knowledge. Below are some of the highlights from my journey.

Ashley Cunningham's Projects

Explore my team's development of a circular baby clothing rental service aimed at promoting sustainable consumption, reducing textile waste, and supporting maternal and infant health. We reinvested profits into community mentorship and partnered with Mama Mentorship to offer prenatal education, healthcare guidance, and support for low-income mothers.

Discover my work with Fort Worth-based fashion brand Esther Penn, where I developed a marketing strategy to strengthen their brand identity and expand their audience. Through consumer personas and market research, I introduced a “Mom and Me” collection to better connect with young mothers. I also recommended a cost-effective SEO strategy to increase online visibility and drive traffic to their website.

Explore my proposal for a community garden at the University of San Diego, designed to support sustainable food systems, enhance student well-being, and promote environmental education. Informed by field research in London, including visits to local farms, food markets, and public gardens, the project encourages campus-wide engagement through culturally diverse, farm-to-table gardening and shared green space.

I also evaluated the company's structure, culture, and governance to understand their strategic alignment. By benchmarking their approaches against key competitors, I gained valuable insights into the sustainability of their market position.

Throughout the project, I researched French consumer behavior and analyzed the competitive landscape to craft a plan that would successfully position the brand.
